With its huge historical heritage from the Magna Graecia and its natural beauties, its good climate and excellent food, Sicily is one of the most interesting travel destinations in the Med. The Aeolian and Aegadian Islands, Taormina, Palermo, the volcano Etna, Cefalù, the "Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro", San Vito Lo Capo, Selinunte are a must when traveling to Sicily.

Spain is definitely a miscellaneous yachting destination as it presents three completely different territories: the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera, Menorca, Cabrera), the long Spanish coast and the remote Canary Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean west from Morocco.

The Sporades Islands are a lovely and archipelago along the east coast of Greece in the Aegean Sea. They consist of 24 islands, but only 4 of them are permanently inhabited: Skiathos, Skopelos, Skyros and Alonnisos.

When cruising to the "Turkish Riviera" you will not only encounter crystal clear waters, beautiful bays, astonishing beaches, interesting historical monuments, hamams, singing mu'addhins and a roaring nightlife but also one of the most welcoming populations ever.

Tuscany has a wonderful seaside with sandy beaches and rocky coasts, pine tree forests and a maritime Nature Reserve that covers part of the Tuscan Archipelago and the Maremma National Park. Elba, Capraia, Giglio, Giannutri, Montecristo and Pianosa have an autentic beauty, full of tradition, untouched nature and fascinating landscapes.

The Western Med not only holds the headquarter of yachting on the French Riviera, but includes also amazing sailing areas like the Amalfi Coast, Capri and Ischia, Corsica, Sardinia, Portofino and the Cinque Terre, Sicily, the Tuscan Archipelago and the Balearic Islands.

The Windward Islands are called such because for sailing ships arriving to the "New World" they were more windward respect to the upper Leeward Islands, since the prevailing trade winds in the West Indies blow from east to west. Dominica, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago are the main islands of this island group.
