Sardinia
Sardinia is without doubt one of the most attractive places for yachting in the Med. While the Costa Smeralda and the Maddalena National Park are a strategic point for celebrities and megayachts from all over the world, we also suggest to discover the untouched beauty of less known places like Carloforte, Costa Rei, Villasimius, Alghero, Orosei or Asinara.

General Information | Sardinia in the yachting business is often identified with the famous Costa Smeralda, a meeting point for celebrities, but in reality it is much more than this. The Costa Smeralda is a quite short segment of the North Sardinian Coast, which was uninhabited until 1962, when Aga Khan created his dream of luxury and wellbeing: the "Consorzio Costa Smeralda". Porto Cervo, Romazzino, Capriccioli, Cala di Volpe, Golfo Pevero, Pantogia and Liscia di Vacca were built in a similar architectural style to give VIP from all over the world the possibility to pass their holidays in an exclusive environment, in the middle of a breathtaking nature, full of services for yachting and wellness, with a vibrating nightlife around the famous "Billionaire" and excellent hotels and restaurants. And all this in front of the splendid Maddalena National Park with its beautiful islands and the legendary crystal clear waters that you can find only in Sardinia. But yachting in Sardinia is not limited to this area where during summertime you will meet the biggest yachts and most luxurious vessels from all over the Mediterranean, this huge island in the centre of the West Mediterranean offers a multitude of interesting places and attractions and, everywhere, astonishing white and rosé sanded coasts and dazzling turquoise waters. While the area around the Costa Smeralda offers the most sophisticated services for high-end tourism, managed by foreign investors, the other parts of Sardinia, the most typical ones, have a very rural tradition. Sardinian people are very linked to their land, are known for sheep breeding, ancient food traditions - like the famous Sardinian "Pecorino" cheese and the "Porceddu" - and their life in single stone houses called "Stazzu". You will also find many archeological sites from the neolithic. There are excellent ports and yachting services all over the island and enjoy your cruise inside this magic world of tradition and innovation, nature and culture and its endless sea. |
