Alessandro Abbate, Italian, 49 y.o.

Alessandro is a reliable and highly skilled Captain, with many years of experience in the maritime field. His father introduced him to sea life since his young age, bringing him to sea aboard his boat.

Alessandro also has great technical expertise: he oversaw the maintenance and refit of private  sailing and motor yachts on different occasions.

His passion for the sea is not limited to the career: in his spare time Alessandro participates in important international regattas, achieving exemplary results and gaining the podium on several occasions.

Italian native speaker, speaks good English.

Daniele Bertone, Italian, 44 y.o.

Daniele is an experienced chef with a strong “can do” attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for cooking. A true sea-lover, Daniele left home and started traveling the world at a very young age, working as a sailing and windsurf instructor in touristic resorts. Becoming an adult, his passion for the sea grew stronger together with the one for cooking so he decided expand his natural cooking skills and attended a professional cooking school in Milan, specializing in gourmet cuisine and finger food in order to embark as a chef on both private and charter yachts.

Since his first job on a gulet in 2005, he has acquired a valuable experience and, when ashore for winter, he worked as a chef de partie in important international hotel restaurants, such as the Marriott Milan, and traveled extensively to Brazil, where he took a lot of inspiration for his dishes. He learned how to accommodate any and all preferences and dietary requirements and how to enhance the taste of single, simple ingredients by skillfully combining them together. Handmade bread and pizza are among his strong points and his apple strudel is a delight.

Italian mother tongue, Daniele also speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish.


Gregorio Daversa, Italian, 25 y.o.

Gregorio is a young deckhand, dynamic, efficient and professional.

Coming from a family of maritime operators, his passion for the sea is deeply rooted, and he pursues the dream of becoming a Captain.

He took his degree at the Nautical Institute with dedication and determination, obtaining all the necessary qualifications to enter the yachting industry. Fond of fishing and water sports, Gregorio is a discreet and kind sailor, always ready to do its best to guarantee guests a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Italian native speaker, has a good knowledge of English.


Paula Valentina Enache, Romanian, 32 y.o.

Kind, polite and efficient are the three main adjectives that guests use to describe Paula. A great sea lover and blessed with great people skills, Paula started working on super yachts as a stewardess in 2015, after a 4 years experience as a waitress/bartender.

Paula is a very sociable and outgoing, always eager to help and to make her guests feel like home. But probably her most appreciated trait is organization: precise and professional, Paula is a marvel at keeping the yacht clean and tidy and the galley always well stocked with the freshest products and chilled beverages.

Her eye to the detail and her discretion make her the perfect chief stewardess. Romanian mother tongue, Paula also speaks fluently Italian and English.


Noemi Pizzano, Italian, 29 y.o.

Noemi is a delightful hostess, very accurate and discreet. After achieving her studies, she soon started working in different positions but with a point always in common: the contact with people. She has been a nanny, a shop assistant and a bartender and she’s always loved to meet new people from different countries and cultures; that’s why, in 2015 she embarked as a stewardess on a charter yacht.

Efficient, friendly and guest-oriented, Noemi will welcome her guest on board with a five star service. Italian mother-tongue, she speaks a basic level of English.

Daniele is an incredibly talented chef, always trying new combinations of flavours and new ways to improve his already delicious dishes. On board, he makes handmade bread every day, experimenting different blends of flours, handmade pizza and focaccia and a yummy assortment of sweet treats for breakfast, including his highly appreciated fruit strudel.
His attention to the healhty side of cuisine is a plus and he loves spoiling his guests with canapés and cocktails!
