|General Information||Traveling to Naples and its surroundings means entering into the real heart of Italy.
Most of the best known Italian traditions and culinary specialties come from here. This doesn't mean only the real Pizza Napoletana, coffee and mozzarella di bufala but also a rich cultural life that includes theatre, film, music, fine arts, the "Canzone Napoletana", the typical Italian hospitality and mood and a great history.
Being in Naples' area means superlativity. The astonishing landscapes of the Amalfi Coast and its islands, the important archeological sites of Pompei and Ercolanum, the breathtaking nature of Vulcano Vesuvio's National Park, the excellent Napolitan food, a vibrating nightlife in clubs, restaurants and live music bars, glamour, 5-star-services, lemon trees all over the peninsula of Sorrento, thermal baths and an infinity of activities.
If you move further south, under Salerno you will find the amazing Nature Park of the Cilento, full of untouched nature, historical towns, ancient ruins, secret bays and crystal clear waters. Castellabate, Marina di Camerota, Palinuro, the historical site of Paestum are only some of the places that are worth a visit due to their ancient history and beautiful surroundings.
